We are a small start up Mayan Mexican hammock company run by the parent company Staying Sharp LLC. Tropical Siesta™ was officially born in a “Smokey Bones Fire And Grill” restaurant over a slab of ribs in 2008.

  • 1993: Brian lays in a Mayan Hammock for the first time
  • 1997: Brian’s family buys a Mayan Hammock for their cottage on Keuka Lake
  • 2007: Brian sells his first hammock on eBay
  • 2007: Staying Sharp LLC is created as an Mayan Mexican eBay company
  • 2008: Brian brands Tropical Siesta
  • 2009: The website, www.TropicalSiesta.net is created
